Privacy Policy
Effective date: December 25, 2025
LockScreen Calendar ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS application.
1. Information We Collect
1.1. Personal Information
We may collect personal information such as your name or email address only if you choose to provide it (e.g., when contacting support).
1.2. Non-Personal Information
We may automatically collect non-personal information, including:
- Device type and operating system
- Usage statistics (e.g., features used, app sessions)
- Language and preference settings
- App crash reports and error logs
Calendar wallpapers and images you create or customize are processed on your device. We do not upload your photos or generated wallpapers to our servers.
1.3. Google User Data (Google Calendar)
If you choose to connect a Google account, the App uses Google OAuth to access your Google Calendar data to display calendar information in the App and to generate your calendar wallpapers.
Depending on the permissions you grant, this may include calendar metadata and event details (such as event title, start/end time, and location/notes if present in the event). We do not access your Google password.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide and improve the App’s features
- Respond to support requests
- Analyze usage to improve the user experience
- Fulfill legal or regulatory obligations
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share information only:
- With service providers (e.g., analytics, in-app purchase platforms) that help us operate the App, under strict confidentiality.
- When required by law or to protect our rights, users, or others.
4. Data Storage and Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Google User Data Retention and Deletion
5.1. Retention
Google user data is used only to provide the App’s calendar features. Any Google OAuth tokens (used to keep you signed in) are stored securely on your device (e.g., in iOS Keychain) and are retained until you disconnect your Google account from within the App or uninstall the App.
Calendar data retrieved from Google (such as events) may be cached locally on your device to improve performance and reduce repeated requests. Local cache is retained only as long as needed for the feature to function and is replaced/cleared when you refresh, disconnect your Google account, or uninstall the App. We do not store your Google Calendar data on our servers.
5.2. Deletion
You can delete Google user data associated with the App by:
- Disconnecting your Google account from within the App (which removes stored tokens and clears locally cached Google Calendar data), and/or
- Uninstalling the App (which removes data stored on your device).
You can also revoke the App’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account settings.
If you need help deleting Google user data or have a deletion request, contact us at the email address in the “Contact Us” section below.
6. Your Choices
You can choose not to provide personal information. You can manage app permissions (e.g., Photo Library access for saving wallpapers) in your device Settings.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
8. Third-Party Links
The App or our website may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their policies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
