1.2. Information Stored on Your Device
The App stores the following data locally on your device:
Clock and teleprompter settings (colors, fonts, scroll speed, display preferences).
Teleprompter scripts and script history you create or import.
App preferences such as theme, haptic feedback, and notification settings.
This information stays on your device unless you choose to share it (for example, by exporting or copying text).
1.3. Permissions and Device Data
Depending on how you use the App, we may request access to:
Photo Library: to import images for OCR text recognition. Images are processed on your device to extract text for your teleprompter scripts.
Notifications: to alert you when a countdown timer ends, if you enable this feature.
Picture in Picture: to display the floating clock or teleprompter overlay while you use other apps.
1.4. Non-Personal Information
We may automatically collect non-personal information, including but not limited to:
Device type and operating system version.
App version and general usage patterns (such as which features are used).
Crash reports and diagnostic logs to help us fix issues.
1.5. Subscription Information
If you purchase PiPrompt Pro, subscription and purchase information is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and entitlements. We do not receive your full payment card details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide and improve the App’s features and functionality.
Save your preferences and scripts on your device.
Process and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions.
Respond to user inquiries and provide support.
Diagnose crashes and improve stability.

With Service Providers: We may share limited data with third-party services (such as RevenueCat and Apple) that help us operate subscriptions, process purchases, and improve the App.

4. Data Storage and Security
Most of your content (scripts, settings, and preferences) is stored locally on your device. We implement reasonable security measures to protect any information we handle. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Choices
5.1. Opting Out
You can choose not to provide personal information. However, this may limit your ability to contact support or use certain optional features.
5.2. Managing Permissions
You can manage or revoke app permissions (such as Photo Library access and Notifications) in your device’s Settings at any time.
5.3. Deleting Your Data
You can delete teleprompter scripts and history within the App. Uninstalling the App removes locally stored data from your device.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us, and we will delete the information.
7. Third-Party Links
The App may include links to third-party websites or services (such as the App Store). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
